Bumper Cars
The addition of the Bumper Cars was the first big “game changer” for Wonderland Park. At the time, KiddieLand (later renamed Wonderland) had more kiddie rides. The Bumper Cars made the park more appealing to an older audience. Not too long after, KiddieLand changed its name to Wonderland to reflect this transition.
The cars on the ride were purchased from Reverchon International Design of Jamois, France.
The original Bumper Car building was built in-house located across from Skeeball Building. The new Bumper Car building was purchased from Rides 4-U and was relocated to the North end of the park by the second loop of the Texas Tornado.
