Himalaya
The Himalaya was purchased from Reverchon International Design of Samois, France for $142,793.00.
The original location in Wonderland Park for the Himalaya was next to the Concession Stand by the Office. The noise of the ride, riders and the horn was too much for the Himalaya to remain so close to the office. The next location where the Himalaya’s placement was at the end of the Red and White Coaster, known as the Mousetrap. The Himalaya resided there until it was moved farther north, close to the second loop of the Texas Tornado, to allow for the addition of more rides to the park. The Himalaya’s current location was it's final move. The final move was due to the park’s growth and the addition of new rides, particularly the installation of the Shute the Chute water ride.
