The Kiddie Boat Ride was first featured at Playland Park, which was later renamed Neff's Amusement Park in San Angelo, Texas.
The ride was later leased to Paul and Alethea Roads by Robert and Ruth Mikesell.
The Mikesell's were Alethea Road's parents, who along with the Roads and the ride, moved to Amarillo from San Angelo to start KiddieLand Park, later renamed Wonderland Park.
Originally, the ride was purchased from Allan Herschell Company, Inc. of North Tonawanda, Niagra County, New York.
It consists of 6 4-passenger boasts.
