PARK HOURS & SCHEDULE
GENERAL PARK POLICIES
WEATHER
Wonderland rarely closes due to weather. As safety is our number one priority at Wonderland, we do occasionally close because of severe weather conditions. Depending on the severity of the weather, Wonderland may remain open during a rain shower, may close certain rides, or may close the entire park. Only if the entire park is forced to shut down are Rain Checks issued to customers inside the park. Rain Checks are not issued after 9 p.m. on weeknights and 8 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
SECURITY
Wonderland is private property. Except for Wonderland security personnel, Wonderland does not allow firearms or weapons in the park. We reserve the right to inspect all persons and belongings on Wonderland property.
LINE-CUTTING
Wonderland will eject all customers who cut in line, whether on a ride or in gate and concession lines. Please be courteous to others while enjoying our facility.
SERVICE ANIMALS
Wonderland allows service animals into our park. The animal must remain in the owner’s control at all times and must remain on a harness or leash no longer that four feet long. Animals are not allowed on rides at any time. Owners are responsible for their animal’s behavior and for cleaning and disposing of their animal’s waste.
SMOKING
Smoking is not allowed inside the park, except in Designated Smoking Areas which are clearly marked. These areas are: 1) the umbrella across from the Rainbow and next to the Train Station and 2) the umbrella at the Pipe Line Plunge exit. Smoking in children’s areas, entry and ride lines, and other non-designated areas is prohibited.
DRESS CODE
Wonderland requests guests dress appropriately for our “family oriented environment.” Shirts, pants or shorts, and shoes are required to be worn at all times. Swim wear is not to be worn without shirts and shorts while in the park. Tube tops, halter tops, & other revealing shirts are not allowed. Clothing with offensive language, pictures, logos or symbols are not permitted. If clothing is determined by Wonderland staff to be offensive, we will ask you to change into more appropriate clothing. T-shirts are available for purchase at Wonderland’s Souvenir Building if the customer does not have other clothing available.
ALCOHOL AND DRUGS
Alcoholic beverages are not allowed inside Wonderland. Guests have a duty not to ride any amusement ride when under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Guests under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be required to leave the park.
RIDE SAFETY POLICIES
There are inherent risks in participation of any amusement ride. Guests of an amusement park, by participation on the ride, accept the risks inherent in such participation of which the ordinary prudent person should be aware.
The safety of our guests is our number one priority at Wonderland. Safety is a shared partnership between Wonderland and our guests. Guests are asked to use good judgment when considering the ride restrictions. The Management of Wonderland Park reserves the right to refuse a guest’s participation and access to any ride which the Management deems inappropriate for the guest.
Due to the design of particular ride manufacturers, guests who are large in terms of height or weight or guests with unusual body proportions may be unable to ride certain rides. Height restrictions and safety requirements may also prevent some guests from riding a particular ride or may require a child to ride with a responsible adult. A responsible adult is someone 18 years of age or older.
A Ride Pass wristband does not guarantee access to all rides. Guests with Ride Pass wristbands will be measured at the ride locations to ensure access and consistency.
Due to safety concerns, guests may not ride on another guest’s lap. And, guests must properly use all ride safety equipment provided.
Guests have a duty to act in a responsible manner before boarding any ride and to obey all written and oral warnings prior to and during participation in that ride. Please observe all caution signs before entering ride lines.
Guests with previously treated injuries (broken arms in casts) or disabilities should sign a waiver at the Guest Relations booth before riding any ride. Once the waiver has been signed, a permission slip will be given to the rider for access to rides. People needing such permission are required to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
GUIDELINES FOR GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES
Wonderland requests that guests with disabilities have someone, who is familiar with their needs, accompany them to our park to assist them when loading and unloading rides.
Wonderland suggests guests “Decide Before You Ride” whether they should participate on a ride or not. Prior to riding any ride, guests should evaluate the ride during its complete loading, running and unloading cycle. Then they should consider their own individual capabilities, deciding whether riding the ride is something they should or should not do.
Guests with disabilities need to consider whether they possess:
-
The ability to withstand the forces resulting from the ride’s actions.
-
The ability to comprehend how to load, unload, and participate on the ride, including some certain effects the ride will produce during these stages.
-
The ability to brace, as needed, against certain ride effects.
-
The ability to safely be removed or remove oneself from the vehicle during the course of the ride, in the event of a situation where it is required. Guests should be mobile enough to use catwalks or stairs to exit the ride. Although these occurrences are rare, please be aware of this possibility, and use discretion and good judgment before entering the ride.
Before riding, please inform the ride operator of specific needs or extra time you may require to board or exit the ride. At some rides, guests with disabilities and the person accompanying them may enter the exit to access the ride. If doing so, please wait for the operator’s permission and for their instructions before boarding the ride.
Guests who wear prosthetic or orthotic devices need to ensure they are properly fitted and secure before riding. If a prosthetic or orthotic device should become detached during a ride, it could severely compromise the effectiveness of the rider’s safety restraints or it could cause harm to another rider.
